Dr. Ibrahim Abikar Noor has over seven years of experience in monitoring and valuation. He has a PhD in evaluation studies from the University of Minnesota. His research primarily concerns evaluation and capacity building using qualitative and quantitative methods. He has conducted evaluations in the United States and researched evaluation capacity building of non-governmental organizations in Somalia and East Africa. He was a consultant for the Minnesota Evaluation Studies Institute (MESI) of the University of Minnesota. He was a policy fellow at the Center for the Study of Politics and Governance, Humphrey School of Public Affairs, with the University of Minnesota. Dr. Ibrahim A Noor has over 20 years of experience in Workforce Development and has been a Field Operations Manager for the Minnesota State Department of Employment and Economic Development. Dr. Noor was a commercial pilot flying for Somali Airlines after he completed his aviation education at Lufthansa, a flying school in Bremen, Germany, and Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Omar Abdurahman is a distinguished Veterinarian with extensive experience in research and leadership roles within veterinary medicine and rural development and policy. Dr. Abdurahman’s research primarily focuses on pastoralist and agro-pastoralist resource ownership and management, aiming to identify opportunities for effective interventions. From 1984 to 1991, he played a vital role as a member of the Somali Camel Research Project, a multidisciplinary initiative designed to study camel health, breeding management, production, and aspects related to economics, anthropology, and dairy technology, sponsored by SAREC (Swedish Agency for cooperation and research). Dr. Abdurahman focused on monitoring udder health, assessing milk quality, identifying constraints in production, and introducing sustainable methods to understand the complexities involved in integrating scientific objectives with considerations for community welfare and sustainable development. Dr Abdurahman has extensive experience working with governmental agencies in Somali and Swedish institutions. He is an expert in fostering dialogue with local stakeholders to explore innovative resource ownership and management strategies, specifically focusing on rural development. Dr. Abdurahman has also made notable contributions to academia, including his role as an Assistant Course Director at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, where he conducted extensive research in animal health and development, evidenced by his numerous publications in international peer-reviewed journals and various book chapters. His vast experience and results-driven approach make him a valuable asset for organizations seeking expertise in livestock research, rural development, and program coordination, particularly in challenging environments. Dr Abdurahman holds degrees from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry at Somali National University and an MSc and a Ph.D. from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala, Sweden.

Mohamed is a long-serving educator and has served as lecturer, Head of departments, and Dean of Faculties at various universities in Uganda. He has served as Head of Quality Assurance at Universities and technically supported regional regulatory bodies in higher education. Mohamed has supported consulting functions with Legacy Logistics Associates Ltd Bankshire Technologies Ltd and supported training in Strategy Development and Evaluation, Resource Mobilisation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Organisational Development, and Performance Enhancement; and performed and supported various advocacy programmes in the country in more than 300 secondary schools. Dr. Menya Mohamed holds a B. A Hons (Educ), MBA (HRM) and PhD (Business Administration), South Wales.
Mr. Yusuf Ahmed is an expert in social sciences and human resource management with more than ten years of experience in management and significant experience in research and public policy. He has done extensive research in entrepreneurship, employment, and employee performance. He has extensive experience in both quantitative and qualitative research. Mr. Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Human Resource Management from the International University of East Africa in Uganda and a master’s degree in development studies from Bugema University in Uganda.
Mr. Toko Jimmy Brian is a project management specialist with over 12 years in the field of programming and monitoring and evaluation in both the public sector and international development, with experience working with the United Nations as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist in UNDP Uganda, strong background in education, Monitoring and Evaluation Expert.
